High Sheriff Youth Against Crime Awards Ceremony award 2017

The Tyne and Wear High Sheriff Award in conjunction with the Community Foundation, was a ceremony held on 28th March 2017  in the Scotswood Suite,  Centre for Life, Newcastle upon Tyne.

The award was presented by John Mowbray OBE the High Sheriff supported by the Community Foundation Tyne and Wear and Northumberland.

The award was presented to Park View Project's Simon Schofield- Volunteer Online Chum. The award was in recognition of the unpaid time and effort given to the project in Park View Whitley Bay, especially his prolific blogging and encouraging young people with support needs to get involved.

Park View Project assists young and old alike to have a voice in the community

and help them learn skills in IT, journalism, blogging, using the internet safely, avoiding cyber crime and staying safe online.  Our strap line is 'Get you Online to Achieve Offline Community Activities' via our Fireside Groups Website www.parkviewproject.org uk .
